The International Chinese Corner http://www.meetup.com/intchinesecorner/ wound up the year with an afternoon pot luck November 30th at Jack and Jianying’s house filled with new friends, conversation and lots of homemade food and sweets. There were over forty members in attendance and a good time was had by all.
The year ended by having a luncheon social, 19 attendees, after the Christmas holiday (Dec. 28th) at the Japanese Ginza Buffet in Boynton Beach. An after Christmas window shop at the Boynton Beach Mall was planned by the ladies of the group following the buffet lunch but was cancelled, due to a flat tire on the primary transportation vehicle.
Our next regularly scheduled meeting (4th Sunday of the month) will be on January 26th at 2pm in the West Palm Beach Library. Free parking in the City parking garage.
